Still using my order from last time but my freezers are now topped up I’ve been using Cleaver Meats for years and used to get my meats from the Bakewell market van off Mark The only difference I’ve found now is there’s no person contact and you can’t asked for thick cut pork chops Even if that’s left in The comments it’s not taken any notice of Small things I know But the best thing is in the years we’ve been using Cleaver Meats we have never had any problems The meat has. Always been excellent You may get some stuff cheaper if you shop around but you get what you pay for. Carl Mickleburgh

After trying one or two other online butchers during this heat wave i decided to try Cleaver Meats Ltd, i wasnt let down in any way shape or form the meat was packed well, travelled from Derby to Telford was in transit for around 18 hours and the ice packs were still frozen and the meat still nice and cool, as always i imediately open everthing to check condition and quality repack and freeze and again wasnt let down it all smelt fresh no discolouring what so ever and the meat looked of decent quality, trying the meat i love belly pork so had to try that first which they were cut into nice thick full length slices no real big pieces of gristle so far and tasted just the way i like it, i also bought 3 racks of ribs which were at a good price and again wasnt let down they were all meaty ribs, cooked in bbq sauce they were great, my next will be the lamb rump in mint which looked so tasty i wanted to cook them straight out the box. Overall i was more than satisfied after reviewing other online butchers Cleaver Meats has been my first 5 star review and i think ive now found my new butchers of choice many thanks.

Great service, was worried about delivery in 30 plus heat, had no need as on arrival some cool packs still partially frozen and all meat still nice and chilled. Had a couple of requests and questions and these were answered promptly. 100% will be ordering again. Laurence Wilkinson
